Rebecca conducts workshops and residencies in writing centers, libraries, colleges, and universities throughout the United States
Rebecca currently serves on the MFA faculties of Queens University (Charlotte) and Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA, as well as on the faculty of the annual Kenyon Review Writers Workshop.
Recipient of the N. C. Governor's Award for Excellence in Education, she was the Writer-in-Residence at Hollins University in 2015.
